Live Animals
Meet the Animals
Each grade level has one Life Science kit that includes a live animal. The live animal can assist in providing real-time observations that can be used as evidence to support life processes. A live stream and pre-recorded videos of movement, growth/stages, and/or feeding of these animals can be viewed by clicking the button.
Welcome Blossom and Mac n' Cheese

BLOSSOM
Aquatic Ambassador
Species: Axolotl
Interests: Cool, slow moving water and low lights
Fun Fact: I can regrow my body parts!
About Me
Some people call me a "walking fish" but I'm not a fish at all. I love swimming around my tank and exploring all the fun things there are around me. I'm a bit shy, so I like to hide out in my favorite spots.

MAC N' CHEESE
Mealworm Connoisseur
Class: Reptilia
Interests: Exploring, basking, mealworms
Fun Fact: Did you know that leopard geckos can drop their tails as a defense mechanism?
About Me
I'm native to the arid deserts of the Middle East but I call OHM Science Center home. I'm a master of camouflage and a quick mover. I also love mealtime and have been known to get a little chirpy.
