30-Hour Basic Training Course

State certified instructors conduct 30 hours of basic safety training for bus drivers within their first year of service as a bus driver. This course includes the following areas:

 

This course is mandated by the State of New York. Drivers taking this course qualify for DMV point reductions and insurance reduction.
