Computer Education Coordinator (Principal – Virtual Academy)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters or other advanced degree
  • At least 3 years of classroom instruction experience
  • Permanent or Professional NYS Certification in an instructional-related area
  • Current New York State Certification for School Building Leader (SBL) and/or School District Leader (SDL)
  • A background in instructional technology
  • Evidence of successful leadership in group processes and Program and Professional Development Program planning/implementation
  • Experience in implementation and evaluation of instructional technology programs
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Mac platform; experience in utilization of technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Experience in curriculum and/or exam development
  • Experience with online/blended and personalized learning

DUTIES Provide leadership and direction for the improvement of instruction through meaningful integration of technology resources and tools into teaching/learning and to work cooperatively with administrative/teaching personnel regarding planning/implementing/evaluating information and instructional technology programs.

SALARY $75,000 - $85,000
