OHM BOCES Inducts New Members into Honor Society

More than 120 juniors and seniors were inducted into the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison (OHM) BOCES Career and Technical Education Center’s (CTEC) Honor Society on May 15. The induction ceremony was held at the OHM BOCES Howard D. Mettelman Learning Center, located on Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford.

In order to be inducted into the honor society, students must maintain a 90 or higher grade point average at CTEC, an 80 or higher grade point average at their home schools and meet attendance requirements at CTEC. This year, 120 students were inducted into the CTEC Honor Society.

The following students were inducted:

During the induction ceremony, live music was provided by Clinton High School. Ms. Angela Johnson, a Whitesboro Central School graduate and owner of BB Designs, was the guest speaker.

The OHM BOCES serves the following component school districts: Brookfield, Clinton, Holland Patent, New Hartford, New York Mills, Oriskany, Remsen, Sauquoit Valley, Utica, Waterville, Westmoreland and Whitesboro.
