Radio Station Sticker to Feature Design by Advertising Design/Multimedia Productions Student

bug country sticker with student's designLocal radio station Bug Country will once again be sporting a static sticker designed by a student in the Advertising Design/Multimedia Productions (ADMP) program at the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES.

For the third consecutive year, Bug Country partnered with seniors in the ADMP program for the station’s annual static sticker contest. Seniors were given specific criteria by radio station executives and asked to come up with their own design for a Bug Country sticker. Students presented initial drafts of their stickers and received feedback from radio station employees, then used those suggestions to complete their final drafts.

Four finalists were chosen and the local community was asked to vote for their favorite sticker design on Bug Country’s website. The winner of the contest was Robert Wilkinson (Utica City School District), whose design depicts the Bug Country logo along with the silhouette of trees and horses walking toward a barn. Stickers featuring the winning design have been produced and will hopefully be spotted on a car bumper soon!

Congratulations to each of the finalists, and congratulations to Robert on creating the winning design!
