Web Instructional Services

The OHM BOCES Distance Learning service also provides opportunities for online learning/Web Instructional Services in three levels: credit recovery, as a supplement to regular classroom instruction, and fully online courses. The online learning platforms can also be used to enhance video distance learning classes in make an invaluable resource for teachers looking to flip the classroom.

 

Buzz (formerly known as BrainHoney), by Agilix, is the learning management system (LMS) used by OHM BOCES. It provides a secure environment for teachers to share resources, assignments, assessments, and feedback with students. To see a little more about Buzz, try a demo account.

  

The following curricula was ready for use in 2014-15 as supplemental or in blended learning environments. For use as fully online courses, some adjustments would be necessary. All are under a continuous improvement model of development.
