NY Inspires is a comprehensive, five-year plan launched by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to fundamentally transform public education. Informed by the recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures, the initiative aims to ensure educational excellence and equity by shifting the focus from standardized testing to a holistic demonstration of student achievement.
