Registered Professional Nurse (School Nurse/Clinical Supervisor) Leave Replacement - Career and Technical Education
Qualifications:
- Possession of a current valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State at time of appointment. This license must be maintained throughout appointment.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Must have a current CPR/First Aid card
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Familiar with OBRA, OSHA, NYS Department of Health and HIPAA requirements for a certified nursing assistant
- Civil Service position
Duties
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable health standards and providing continuing and/or emergency treatment for student and employee health problems.
- Responsible for public health screening, communicable disease control and the preparation and maintenance of school health records.
- The school nurse/clinical supervisor will supervise students on clinical rotations.
Salary Based Upon Education and Experience
Starting Date September 25, 2025 – June 30, 2026
