About the Career Transition Program
The Career Transition Program provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to help students ages 14-21 with disabilities prepare for success in the workplace.
This free program, funded by ACCES-VR, assists students in identifying career interests, developing employment-related soft skills, exploring post-secondary education options, and obtaining work experience. As part of the program, students have access to a variety of invitation-only workshops, financial stipends, and applied learning opportunities.
Eligibility
- Students ages 14 to 21 years who are enrolled in high school or post-secondary education/training, and are not already receiving vocational rehabilitiation services.
- Students who have a current or previous IEP, 504 plan, or documentation of disability or special need.

- Job exploration counseling
- Workplace readiness training
- Work-based learning experiences
- Counseling on post-secondary opportunities
