Mrs. Alyssa Senior

Mrs. Senior is an Early Childhood Education Teacher at the Career & Technical Education Center. In her role, she provides students with hands-on, practical instruction in early childhood development, curriculum planning, and classroom management, preparing them for careers in education and child care.

Prior to joining OHM BOCES, Ms. Senior gained valuable classroom experience serving as both a kindergarten teacher and a special education teacher, where she focused on creating inclusive, child-centered learning environments tailored to the diverse needs of young learners.

Ms. Senior earned her Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland. She is currently continuing her studies to earn a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University at Albany. She is excited to bring her teaching background and passion for early education to OHM BOCES, helping high school students build foundational skills for their future careers.
