Mr. Jared Alpha

Mr. Alpha is an Emerging Technologies and Cybersecurity Teacher at the Career & Technical Education Center. In his role, he provides students with hands-on, practical instruction in network security, digital forensics, and cutting-edge technology concepts, preparing them for high-demand careers in the tech and security sectors.

Prior to joining OHM BOCES, Mr. Alpha gained extensive classroom and technical experience working as a CTE teacher in computer forensics and supporting educators as an instructional technology specialist.

Mr. Alpha earned his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Utica University and holds a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in Career and Technical Education from SUNY Oswego. He is excited to share his industry knowledge and educational experience with OHM BOCES students, equipping them with the technical skills needed to succeed in the evolving field of technology.
