Chef Patrick Higgins
Chef Patrick Higgins joined the OHM BOCES Career and Technical Education Center as a Culinary Arts teacher in 2024.
Prior to joining BOCES, Chef Higgins was employed as an executive chef at various restaurants in Florida and the Finger Lakes and taught at a demonstration kitchen and cooking camps for kids. He holds a ServSafe Manager Certification and has accolades including serving as a guest chef at the James Beard House in New York City and at the Kohler Food & Wine Festival. Chef Higgins served an apprenticeship at the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
Chef Higgins loves what he does and genuinely wants his students to succeed. His favorite part of his job is passing on culinary experience and passion for the business to the next generation of young chefs.
In his free time, Chef Higgins enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, reading and watching NY Yankees games.
