Automotive Technology
Students in Automotive Technology learn to diagnose, service and repair many different systems in today’s vehicles. Students also learn about computerized engine controls, emission controls, wheel alignment and how to perform New York State vehicle inspections. This program provides an excellent foundation to enter an automotive college program, the workforce or the military. Our Automotive Technology Program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation at the Maintenance and Light Repair Level. Our instructor is an ASE-certified Master Technician and also holds the Advanced Engine Performance and Maintenance and Light Repair certifications. Our graduates have excellent employment potential due to the need for qualified automotive technicians.

Internship Experiences
Internships are available at a variety of local dealerships and shops. Students may participate in an internship experience in which they apply their skills and knowledge working with mechanics in real-world settings. Students may also interact with professionals through campus presentations while considering future educational plans and/or career opportunities.
