Mr. Brian Campbell joined the OHM BOCES Career and Technical Education Center as a Welding teacher in 2017.

Prior to joining BOCES, Mr. Campbell was employed as facilities director at Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center (Oregon), blacksmith assistant at Forged Artistry, lead welder and fabricator at Vantage Welding, as well as owner and proprietor of Campbell Metal Works. He is also a member of the American Welding Society. Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from SUNY Geneseo and is an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (AWS – CWI).

Mr. Campbell respects each individual in his classroom and engages with them on a personal level. He shows humility, compassion and open-mindedness towards all students while working with them one-on-one in the shop and helping them to create things that they are proud of.

In his free time, Mr. Campbell enjoys playing guitar and mandolin, walking in the woods, and creating art with wood, metal and epoxies.
