Mr. Phil Lacelle

Mr. Lacelle is a 1999 alumni from the OHM BOCES Conservation class. After graduating he continued his interest in Forestry by attending Paul Smiths College (with the help from a BOCES Scholarship) and SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. He has several year's experience as a professional forester working for some of the largest lumber companies on the East coast. He also has experience working as a forestry consultant to both local, private landowners as well as some of the areas larger Forest Land Management companies. Mr. Lacelle has always stayed close to his BOCES background. Throughout the years in industry he would bring the BOCES students on field trips to some of the areas sawmills and woodlots demonstrating what his knowledge of forestry. Since 2016 he has shared his knowledge and experience with the Conservation I and Conservation II students. He is currently working towards obtaining his Master's degree in Education.
