Ms. Giruzzi is the English teacher for P-TECH at OHM BOCES. She has taught several years in PTECH, and she’s extremely excited to be a part of such an innovative and engaging program.  This year she will be teaching 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English. She is looking forward to another year of a hands-on and collaborative learning environment. 

Ms. Giruzzi received her B.A. in English with a minor in Creative Arts from Siena College. As a graduate student, she received her M.A.T. in English Education (7-12) from Sage College. After graduate school, Ms. Giruzzi taught seventh grade ELA for two and a half years at Brighter Choice Middle School in Albany, NY. Following this position, she taught 7th and 8th grade ELA within the Schenectady City School District for one year. Last year was filled with many great opportunties within the P-TECH program, and Ms. Giruzzi is excited for another fantastic year with her students and colleagues!
