Auto Tech/Auto Body Repair Occupations and MiTech (Modules of Integrated Technologies) teacher in 2007. He enjoys many things about his job, but his favorite part is teaching students real-life skills that will help them be successful in their future.

Prior to joining BOCES, Mr. Peckham was employed as an automotive technician, parts specialist, inventory specialist, teacher assistant and exploration teacher. Mr. Peckham studied Auto Body repair at OHM BOCES and earned degrees in automotive technology from SUNY Morrisville and vocational technology education from SUNY Oswego. He holds certificates for Valvoline motor oil, automatic transmission systems, battery starting systems, battery charging systems, battery technology and many NAPA Training categories. He is also licensed in MACS air conditioning and New York state inspections.

Mr. Pechkam enjoys bringing his real-life experiences into the classroom and teaching new information to students. He maintains a safe and welcoming environment for all students to learn and understands will make mistakes which they can learn more from. Every day, students start off with a clean slate!

In his free time, Mr. Peckham volunteers with SkillsUSA and enjoys working on trucks and old farm equipment.
