Printing Services offers a full range of high-quality digital printing and copying solutions to meet all of your needs. Our capabilities include newsletters, yearbooks, programs, stationery, envelopes, labels, posters, forms, agendas and so much more.

With the upcoming launch of our upgraded WebCRD online ordering system, districts will soon enjoy an easier, more efficient way to submit print requests — though we will continue to accept traditional hard-copy orders as well.

Need help with design? Our School Communications Services (CoSer 603) team can assist with layout and design to ensure your materials are print-ready and professionally produced.

We print on a wide variety of paper types, colors, and sizes — including NCR forms, vinyl, and specialty stocks. We work in collaboration with the OHM BOCES Courier Service (CoSer 502) to ensure a timely delivery of your finished products. Our pricing structure considers factors such as materials, the number of impressions, required bindery services and any specialized handling or shipping requirements.

Please note that while most printing requests are eligible for financial assistance, paper and supplies are generally excluded. The non-aided portion is typically calculated at 22% of the total cost. Participation in the Educational Communication Center’s Base Service is a prerequisite for receiving aid on our printing services.

School Communication Service

COSER 603

Establishing an effective communication system between schools, families and the community helps districts create higher academic standards and stronger partnerships. Beyond the day-to-day informational needs of school districts, the challenge is to develop a strategic communication program that reinforces the district’s mission and the value of public education to society. In particular, parents, guardians and caregivers need to understand the school’s academic expectations for their children, know what resources are available to help their children be successful in school and understand the value of public education to society.

The School Communication Service provides expert staff in media relations, graphic/visual arts, photography, publication design and layout, branding, social media and website development. Print documents are created and sent to Printing Services (COSER 505) for high-quality printing or copying.

The School Communication Service also provides school districts with the expertise to plan and develop a comprehensive, strategic public relations and communications program that begins with students, parents/guardians and district staff, and reaches out to include the wider community. A professional and consistent approach to public information builds more active support from parents/guardians and community partners. This service offers strategic communication planning services for capital projects, budgets and other initiatives.

The School Communication Service also offers website hosting, support and more for districts through Finalsite. The School Communication Service has a full-time webmaster on staff who assists participating districts with their individual training needs. Districts receive assistance during initial website set-up and continued support as they further develop their websites.
