This spring, Career and Technical Education students from the Automotive Technology (NATEF) program participated in an elite competition demonstrating their exceptional skills. Patrick McNamara (Proctor) and Ryan Seeman (Sauquoit) participated in the Ford/AAA auto skills New York State finals competition at Morrisville State College. They received a fifth place trophy. Stephen Lichtenberger (Holland Patent) and Corey Novak (Sauquoit) participated in the finals in 2013. Stephen and Corey received a fourth place trophy for the competition and a first place trophy for New York high exam score! The event, sponsored by Ford and AAA, included students from the ten highest placing schools in the state test. Special thanks to Sam Arcuri III and Bill Goodie at Steet-Ponte Ford Lincoln who arranged for the loan of a 2014 Ford Focus for the students to use to prepare for this event. Congratulations to all of our participants!
