A Warehouse is used for storing products, while a distribution center, apart from storing products, offers value-added services like product mixing, order fulfillment, cross-docking, packaging etc. A distribution center stores products for relatively shorter periods compared to a warehouse.
Distribution is the process of making a product or service available to the consumer or business user who needs it. This can be done directly by the producer or service provider, or using indirect channels with distributors or intermediaries.

Cell Operator
This position is responsible for the operation of a department. Requires an empathetic, team player and professional with the ability to make quick, effective decisions and communicate accordingly. Identifies the stock keeping unit (SKU) to be processed; enters information into a computer terminal; manages freight flow; ensures the automation equipment is operating properly and provides basic maintenance to equipment.

Delivers products.

Forklift Operator
A professional who is responsible for moving goods around warehouses or other industrial sites. They do this by using a forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout a warehouse and other industrial property.

Line Operator
Works the assembly lines at manufacturing sites and in factories. They operate heavy machinery, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and functional equipment. Line operators are expected to perform quality checks on products and document processes as well.

Loader
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. Professional will manage freight flow through moving and loading freight manually, as well as through extendables and powered equipment. Requires quick decision making, team player attitude and communication skills.

Merchandiser
Beverage merchandisers work in grocery stores and maintain the stock and promotion of all beverages.

Order Selector
Warehouse selectors select products, palletize products, shrink wrap and load trailers utilizing power equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

Orderfiller Non-Conveyable
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. Requires quick decision making, team player attitude and ability to adapt. Professional maintains freight inventory through inspection and verification of correct freight label information; fills store orders through pulling merchandise and organizes warehouse.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Processes paperwork, prepares shipments, manages inventory, tracks shipments and verifies receipt of shipments.

Supply Chain Orderfiller
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. Professional will provide basic maintenance to machinery; will maintain freight integrity through inspecting freight for damage and mis-placement and will maintain and ensure label or freight quality through inspecting and verifying freight label information. Requires quick decision making, team player attitude and communication skills.

Warehouse Assistant
Lifting and storing products, scanning orders and tracking inventory. Candidates should understand the supply chain management process and be familiar with basic warehouse activities. This job involves lifting and carrying heavy packages.

Warehouse Delivery Driver
Responsible for transporting goods and services from the warehouse to different assigned locations. Warehouse delivery drivers record the inventory materials receipt before and after delivery to ensure the merchandise's correct quantity and quality.

Warehouse Manager
They are responsible for managing the warehouse staff. They also direct storage, inventory, and dispatch of warehouse goods.
