Yes, teachers can cancel an absence. If a substitute has accepted the position the system will contact the substitute notifying them about the cancellation of the job.

Who do I contact if I am going to be out sick or late for work after the deadline for inputting an absence?
You should always contact your school office first. The school office will email us with any absences.

How far in advance can I enter an absence?
Each local district may be different in the time in advance a teacher should indicate they will be absent. As soon as a teacher knows that they will be out they should enter the absence into the Frontline System to guarantee a substitute for the day or length of the absence.
Teachers can use the phone to report an absence up to one month in advance, with the website or mobile app an absence can be reported up to one year in advance.
