Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI, ML & Drones
-
Cybersecurity is the art of protecting networks, devices, and data from unauthorized access or criminal use and the practice of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
Computer science is the study of computation, automation and information. Computer science spans theoretical disciplines to practical disciplines. It is generally considered an area of academic research and distinct from computer programming.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a broad branch of computer science that is focused on a machine's capability to produce rational behavior from external inputs. The goal of AI is to create systems that can perform tasks that would otherwise require human intelligence.
A machine learning (ML) model is an expression of an algorithm that combs through mountains of data to find patterns or make predictions. Fueled by data, machine learning models are the mathematical engines of artificial intelligence. Machine learning is a subfield of artificial intelligence, which is broadly defined as the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior.
Drones - There are many opportunities to build a career around drone operations in a variety of industries. The first step to starting a drone business is certification. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires all drone pilots to demonstrate their competence by passing a certification test before operating a drone.
