Job description
Cook – Utica, NY
Assisted Living Facility in Utica, NY is looking for candidates that are talented, energetic, with a “YES WE CAN” attitude for our Dietary position!
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED
- One-year experience working in an institutional food service a plus
- Proven experience as a dietary aide
- Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Cook in meal preparation
- Set up tables and other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Prepares meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
- Delivers dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
- Follows federal and state regulations regarding food safety
- Cleans up dining areas and returns dishes to the kitchen for washing
- Provide assistance to patients as needed
- Adheres to safety guidelines while working
- Additional tasks as needed
