Agri-Camp & Conservation
July 6-9 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock. This includes the
preparation of plant and animal products for human use. Agriculture provides most of the world’s food and
fabrics. In this workshop, you will learn every step that it takes to prepare a vegetable, herb and floral garden.
Recreational Equipment Technology
July 12-15 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Do you enjoy off-roading on dirt bikes or all-terrain vehicles? Learn the basics to rebuild and tune-up several types
of engines. You will be tearing down the engine to see how it works.
Photography, T-Shirt Printing & Graphic Design
July 19-22 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Put on your thinking caps to operate the basics of the popular software Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Create your own designs and print them on t-shirts, mugs and more right in the classroom. You will also have
the opportunity to work on a personal project of your choice such as creating your own fathead heads, stickers,
banners and more. Come join in on the fun of graphic design and bring your creativity!
July 6-9 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Using a CNC plasma cutter, a MIG machine, and the tools of a metal fabrication shop, you can design and create an
ornamental project to take home. Make a candle holder, garden ornament, decorative sign, or something of your
own creation. Learn the basics of metal fabrication while building something that will last a lifetime.
July 12-15 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sweets, treats and things to eat! Learn your way around the kitchen while making breads, cupcakes, cookies,
soups, sauces and more. This program will teach basic safety and sanitation practices while you prepare
interesting and delicious foods. Grab your wooden spoon and apron and join us to cook up a storm!
July 19-22 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Would you like to pamper yourself and others? Come spend a week in a salon setting to learn about proper
sanitation during hairstyling, nail care and skincare techniques. You will become familiar with the professional
career options for the licensed cosmetologist. Braiding, manicures, pedicures and facials will leave you feeling
great about yourself after spending a week in our salon and spa.
