Virtual Instruction Support Sessions for Teachers
Many teachers have entered new territory with the transition to 100% distance learning during the current school building closures. The Oneida-Herkimer-Madison (OHM) BOCES is now providing new opportunities for online professional development and support to help local educators figure out what student learning looks like in a remote setting, translate lessons into a virtual environment and maximize student learning.
The OHM BOCES Information & Technology (IT), and Program and Professional Learning (PPL) divisions have coordinated a number of FREE virtual instruction support sessions, provided by various OHM BOCES departments, on a wide range of topics including Buzz, Google Classroom, curriculum, resources and more.
All sessions will be conducted through Zoom unless otherwise noted. Sessions will be interactive, with teachers having the ability to use the chat feature and, when appropriate, unmute to chat back and forth.
Contact your administrator or firstname.lastname@example.org for descriptions, dates, times and login credentials for each session.

Teachers are welcome, but not required, to register for sessions through My Learning Plan which will allow them to receive professional development credit for sessions attended.
