Free "Grab & Go" Student Meals

  • School districts in the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES Food Service program will distribute FREE “Grab and Go” breakfasts and lunches daily to all students beginning on Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Meals will be available Monday through Friday for all children 18 years of age and under in each district, regardless of free/reduced/paid lunch status.

    An example of a bagged “Grab and Go” meal would be one deli sandwich, two fruits or one fruit and one vegetable, one milk and the next day’s breakfast item.

    Please see the list below for specific meal pick-up times and locations for each school district.

     

    Brookfield Central School District

    Meals will be provided via delivery service with delivery times to be determined. To register, please contact the Main Office at 315.899.3323 or Tiffany Lopesz at tlopesz@brookfieldcsd.org.

     

    Clinton Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the High School Cafeteria (bus loop by the brick walkway) and the Church of the Annunciation – County Pantry – Parking Lot at 7616 East South Street, Clark Mills (look for the Clinton school bus). Please call the Clinton CSD Food Service Department at 315.557.2242 with any special dietary needs, transportation needs or questions.

     

    Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Frankfort-Schuyler Middle/High School Gym Entrance, the Frankfort Center Volunteer Fire Department and the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department (located at 3597 State Route 5). To register, please call 315.895.7491 and provide your name, number of meals needed and your pick-up location. 

     

    Herkimer Central School District

    “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 11-11:30 a.m. at the East Herkimer Fire Department and the front entrance of Herkimer High School. Additionally, buses will distribute food to Eastern Gardens, Creekside Courts, the Herkimer Public Library on Main Street and the VFW on Mohawk Street. Please call the Main Office at 315.866.2230 if you are unable to access these sites.

     

    Mount Markham Central School District

    Beginning Tuesday, March 17, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Mount Markham High School Cafeteria, the Leonardsville Community and Ministry Center (formerly Leonardsville Elementary School), Bridgewater Town Hall, Litchfield Town Hall, Pine Village Estates in Bridgewater and Cedarhurst Mobile Home Park in Cedarville.

    New Hartford Central School District

    Beginning Tuesday, March 17, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Myles Elementary School main entrance and New Hartford Senior High School main entrance. For special dietary accommodations or other needs, please pre-order by 9 a.m. each day by calling 315.738.9321. 

     

    New York Mills Union Free School District

    Beginning Tuesday, March 17, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the New York Mills School Cafeteria or the following locations: Hapanowicz’s parking lot (11 a.m.), New York Mills Village Offices (11:30 a.m.) and Yorkville Village Offices (12 p.m.). 

     

    Oriskany Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be provided via delivery from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. If no one is available to receive the delivery, meals will be left at the front door for easy access. Anyone who needs to have meals delivered should fill out and submit the survey on the district website as soon as possible for planning purposes.     Owen D. Young Central School District

    Beginning Tuesday, March 17, “Grab and Go” meals will be provided via delivery. No identification or proof of school enrollment is required. To register, please call 315.858.0729 ext. 1107 (kitchen) or 315.858.0729 ext. 1101 (office). 

     

    Poland Central School District 

    “Grab and Go” meals will be provided via delivery from March 17-20, around the same time students would have arrived home from school. The food delivery bus will leave campus each at 3:05 p.m. Please have an adult or student in grade 6-12 meet the bus in the same area where students meet the bus when they are being transported to or from school. To register to receive bagged breakfasts and lunches, please contact the Poland Central School Main Office at 315.826.0200, 315.826.0210 or 315.826.0239.

     

    Remsen Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the back door of the High School kitchen. For families that selected the delivery option, meals will be delivered directly to their home from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. by school bus drivers. 

     

    Richfield Springs Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. outside of the school cafeteria. Deliveries will also be made in the mornings by bus route and will arrive close to the bus run’s regular pick-up time. Families are asked to send someone to the bus for delivery pick-up. Phone calls will be going out to ask families if they would like to have meals delivered. 

     

    Sauquoit Valley Central School District

    Beginning Wednesday, March 18, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.at the half-circle driveway by the outside entrance to the Elementary School cafeteria. Please call the child’s school with any questions or concerns.

     

    Waterville Central School District

    “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick-up from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Waterville Fire Department (back door), Deansboro Fire Department, Oriskany Falls Methodist Church (at the center of town) and North Brookfield Fire Department.

     

    Westmoreland Central School District 

    Beginning Tuesday, March 17, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for pick up from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Primary Elementary School cafeteria. Meals can be picked up by students or parents and meals can be picked up for others. Meals can be delivered to anyone who is unable to pick-up meals on a daily basis.
