Automotive Technology

Our Automotive Technology program is a two-year program certified by NATEF at the Maintenance and Light Repair level. OHM BOCES has also been selected as one of the Tomorrow's Technician Top 20 schools in the nation for two straight years. Our program also recieved international recognition when Mr. Stratton was awarded the North American Council of Automotive Teachers Education Foundation SEMA awawrd in Las Vegas. We were also selected as a semifinalist in the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Award. Automotive technicians are in high demand. Graduates can seek employment at a variety of automotive service centers both locally and nationwide. Many of our students go on to post-secondary education at colleges or trade schools. Military service is another option our students can choose. Our goal is for each student to leave our program college ready, career ready and citizen ready.
