Mrs. Kovacs is the science teacher for P-TECH at OHM BOCES. P-TECH is a nationally recognized program that stands for Pathways in Technology Early College High School. P-TECH OHM offers an integrated high school and college curriculum with a focus on careers and STEM concepts providing students a hands-on education through project based learning.

Mrs. Kovacs previously taught high school science in the alternate education program at Madison-Oneida BOCES in Verona, NY. She attended Utica College where she earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and Adolescent Education (7-12). As a teacher who grew up locally, Mrs. Kovacs is excited to be a part of the P-TECH movement in bringing a revolutionary education experience to the students in this area
