Tech Prep Technology Camps 2004

Eight area schools participated in 2004 Tech Prep Technology Summer Camps. Students had a variety of opportunities to learn new concepts and experience hands-on activities. All the students were able to be introduced to technology and further their interest in Tech Prep areas. Thanks to the instructors who took the time to create and host these camps and also thanks to the fifty-two students (26 males and 26 females) who spent part of their summer vacation participating.

A portion of the camp was devoted to career exploration using Choices software. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher were all explored. Graphic design t-shirts and business cards were produced.
