Designed to adequately prepare students for the "Technology
Age" in which they live and will work.
A combined secondary and post-secondary program, known as
a "2+2 Program," for grades 11-12 plus post-secondary (2
years) or a "4+2"
Program for grades 9-12 plus post-secondary.
Leads to an Associate Degree or Certificate.
Provides a strong foundation in high school of math, science,
communication, and technology through a sequential course of
study.
Provides technical preparation
in at least one field of
engineering technology, applied science, mechanical, industrial,
health, or business.
Designed for all students with particular emphasis on the
"middle majority" - students who select a career
field that requires post-secondary education.
Meets requirements with the New York State Learning Standards
by utilizing "applied" methods of instruction as a
delivery strategy.

- Raise educational standards
- Decrease need for remediation classes
- Decrease drop-out rate
- Increase individual success by optimizing learning styles.
Currently a VATEA (Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied
Technology Education Act) funded initiative with efforts to develop
systematic change in our schools.
Sponsers regional staff development for secondary and post-secondary
faculty.
Focuses on developing "Career Clusters" supported
by written Articulation Agreements, that enable students to select
and follow pathways to career success.
