Transitional Planning Service options are designed to meet the mandates of the Part 200 Commissioner’s Regulations on the provision of transitional services to students with disabilities.
  • Coordinate information and referral process with community service providers.
  • Assist transition teams with development of transition components of student Individual Education Plans (IEP).
  • Develop and present educational in-service programs.

For students enrolled in BOCES Special Education contract classes, consultant services to the individual student are provided. All students ages 15 or older in contract classes receive this service.
