Services of a licensed occupational therapist and certified occupational therapy assistants are available on an itinerant basis. The registered therapist (OTR) evaluates the referred student, develops and supervises the program, and consults as appropriate. Therapy
assistants (COTAs) provide the direct service for the student. Committee on Special Education referrals should indicate the frequency and duration per week as appropriate to the student’s needs. This service is excess cost aidable.
