Located in the Oneida County Correctional Facility and funded through the Oriskany Central School District, this program provides educational services for students ages 16-21 who have been incarcerated. The major thrust of the program is to prepare students for successful completion of the GED exam. On occasion, high school diploma students receive tutorial assistance while incarcerated. Career exploration, life skills instruction, and a transitional support system are expanding components of the program. All other unique educational needs of students are met with the cooperation of the BOCES instructional staff, the appropriate home school personnel, and the correctional facility staff.
