The 12:1:1 Moderate
Program is designed for students with moderate disabilities. Students require specialized instruction in all areas, including social-emotional skills,
physical skills, intellectual skills, and adaptive living skills. The emphasis of the program is to assist the student in achieving their maximum potential in self-sufficiency skills. The program utilizes support services
and transition services with areer and Community Connections
Program (CCC), community agencies, and the Career and Technical Education Center. Annual yearly progress is measured by the scales of independent behavior (SIB-R). Students are IEP diploma
candidates and participate in New York State Alternate Assessment. |

The 12:1:1 Transition
Program is designed for students with disabilities and meets the special educational needs of learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children who require more assistance than in a resource room program. The curriculum emphasizes special educational techniques in perceptual and academic areas and provides counseling and career and
technical education when specified on the Individual Education Plan (IEP). Students participate extensively in the general education program with push-in and/or supportive services. Diploma tracks include Regents/local and IEP diploma programs. Students participate fully in the state testing program. |
