The mission of the Oneida County School and Business Alliance Program is to increase students' abilities to make successful transitions from school to work and to support the development of a qualified workforce in Oneida County by creating, promoting, and evaluating a series of partnerships between business, community organizations, labor, government, and education.
The vision of the program is that every student in every school district associated with Oneida BOCES will participate in a career shadowing opportunity before they graduate from high school.
- Students will have multiple opportunities to investigate career choices.
- Students will make informed career decisions.
- Students will know about career possibilities in the Mohawk Valley.
