Stephen W. Johnson SABA Make a Difference Award

SABA Shining Star Award

The Stephen W. Johnson SABA Made A Difference Award

The Stephen W. Johnson SABA Made A Difference Awards are presented to the companies and individuals who have gone above and beyond to help students understand career opportunities and prepare for their futures. These awards recognize the companies and individuals who have provided many special shadowing experiences, career tours, and school presentations. Thanks to these companies and their employees, the SABA program has significantly impacted the lives of many young people.
Stephen W. Johnson was a member of the SABA Board of Directors for more than 10 years. He was one of the founding fathers of the program and served two terms as chairman of the board. Johnson was extremely instrumental in helping SABA build business support. Each year as we honor the companies and individuals making extraordinary contributions to SABA, we think of Steve and his service not only to SABA, but various other community organizations as well.

Brad Czerkies, owner of Precision Unlimited, has been supporting the SABA Program since the program started in 1991. Captain Frances Coots, Troop D, New York State Police

With all of the forensic shows on television, there is a strong interest by students in the criminal justice system. We are fortunate to have Captain Coots of the New York State Police. Captain Coots gives students the opportunity to participate in “Ride Alongs” and to experience a typical day in the life of a New York State Police Officer.
