Incarcerated Youth
Program
Located in the Oneida County Correctional Facility and funded
through the Oriskany Central School District, this program provides
educational services for incarcerated students ages 16-21. The
major thrust of the program is to prepare students for the GED
test and its successful completion. On occasion, high school diploma
students will receive tutorial assistance while incarcerated.
Career exploration, life skills instruction and a transitional
support system are expanding components of the program. All other
unique educational needs of students are met with the cooperation
of BOCES instructional staff, appropriate home school personnel
and correctional facility staff.
