Participating school district teachers and administrators can call an automated sub-calling system 24 hours per day to report absences. The automated system will fill those vacancies. Qualified substitutes are placed in schools based on an approved list of substitutes provided to the service by the school district. Districts receive daily reports of teacher absences and substitute teachers used and weekly listings of substitutes called.
