Cruise Night Raises Funds for SkillsUSA
June 12, 2008 – OHM BOCES Career & Technical Education students held a Cruise Night to raise funds for SkillsUSA state contest winners to be able to attend the national competition in Kansas City, Kansas later this month. The event was held outside at the Career & Technical Education Center

The public was invited to come admire cars from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. The evening included cars from area car clubs including the Mohawk Valley Corvette Club, the Sopranos Car Club, the Tappet Twirlers Auto Club of Rome, the Mohawk Motorcades, and many more. Music was also provided by DJ Audio King, and admission was free. Students rose funds through concession stands that offered food and beverages.
