National Grid Employees Demonstrate
Tree Maintenance Techniques
On Oct. 18, 2007, Robert Cardamone and Roger Marocco from National Grid gave an overview of tree maintenance techniques to Keith Joslin's Conservation students. Robert and Roger talked to the students about the equipment they use and demonstrated how a wood chipper and boom truck operate, along with giving safety tips. They also talked about the skills required in their field and many potential job opportunities. Students learned a lot of valuable information and appreciated Robert and Roger taking the time to visit OHM BOCES.
