Science Students Help with Utica Zoo
Spooktacular
Oct. 16, 2007 – What could be more
fun than carving pumpkins and doing
community service at the same time?
For the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison
BOCES animal science class, nothing
compares.
With the assistance of their
instructor, Barbara Chubbuck, the
animal science class helped the
Utica Zoo with their upcoming
Spooktacular by carving more than 20
pumpkins using various Halloween
images.
This year’s Spooktacular took place
at the Utica Zoo from 6-9 p.m. on
Oct. 19-20 and Oct. 26-27. |
