Employee Speaks to CTEC Students
On
Feb. 8, Steve Heerkens, a wildlife biologist
who works for the NYS Department of
Environmental Conservation (DEC), spoke to
students from the Animal Science and
Conservation programs. Steve informed
students on education and civil service requirements
for job opportunities at the DEC, as well as
about his job responsibilities, giving
examples using native NY animals.
This is another good example of the types of
professions available to students who start
their education at OHM BOCES CTEC. |
