Meet the Instructor

The New Visions Legal Professions program provides an opportunity to explore a variety of legal professions at offices located in Oneida County. The program takes students out of the classroom and gives them an insider’s look at what it is like to work in the legal field.

This program is designed to integrate English and social studies into the curriculum through a variety of learning experiences. A great deal of emphasis is placed on reading, writing, problem solving, and critical thinking. Instead of textbooks, students use magazines, newspapers, and the Internet to examine current issues in our society, which help them become more informed citizens.
