Meet the Instructor

The New Visions Education Program provides seniors the opportunity to explore all aspects of the education profession. Through internships, students will get to see first-hand what administrators, teachers, social workers, school psychologists, school counselors and other related staff do on a day-to-day basis. Instruction in the history and philosophy of education will be included in the curriculum.

Internship sites will include local school districts and other educational agencies in this geographic area.

Students completing the program receive four credits, including one credit in English 12, one in Government and Economics, and two in Career and Technical Education. Mohawk Valley Community College dual credit for English 110 Oral and Written Communication is also integrated into the curriculum.
