BOCES offers three program options for students who have not completed
a traditional high school education, but would like to obtain
a general equivalency diploma. The program you take depends on
your age. To register, contact your home school.
These students do not possess a high school or equivalency
diploma.
• The GED
preparatory program is
available for students 16-20 years old.
Students attend classes five days per week at the Career
and Technical Educational Center, spending half the day in a GED
class and half in a career and technical education class.
• Students are eligible to
take the GED exam if they have turned 16 years old before July 1st
of that school
year and if they are academically ready.
Your home school district provides transportation.
