 Oneida
BOCES offers three program options for students who have not completed
a traditional high school education, but would like to obtain
a general equivalency diploma. The program you take depends on
your age. To register, contact your home school.
• These students do not possess a high school or equivalency
diploma.
• The GED
preparatory program is
available for students 16-20 years old.
• Students attend classes five days per week at the Career
and Technical Educational Center, spending half the day in a GED
class and half in a career and technical education class.
• Students are eligible to
take the GED exam if they have turned 16 years old before July 1st
of that school
year and if they are academically ready.
• Your home school district provides transportation.
