Electricians
install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
in homes, offices, institutions and industrial plants. Students
learn residential, light commercial, and industrial wiring through
a variety of hands-on activities and projects.

After
completing the program, students may find employment in electrical
maintenance, appliance servicing, as an electricians helper
or electrical supplies salesperson. With
experience and further training, students may get jobs as licensed
electricians, light and power line workers or electrical contractors.
