Students
in the Criminal Justice program will gain extensive knowledge in
the fields of law enforcement and public safety. Students will
learn theory and how to apply theory in real life situations.
The BOCES Criminal Justice program prepares students to become
effective citizens learning valuable tools that will help guide
them in life's situations.

BOCES
Criminal Justice students will study a variety of topics including
law, accident investigation, accident reconstruction, homeland
security, conflict resolution, forensic investigation, basic law
enforcement, community policing, interview and interrogation,
constitution, case law, firefighting, first aid and CPR.

· 40-hour APCO basic telecommunicator training certification
· Job shadowing with the Student and Business Alliance
Program (SABA)
· Internship programs with law enforcement and other
public safety agencies
· Technology and law enforcement/computer crime
