The Construction
Trades program is a one- or two-year program that teaches students
basic skills in carpentry. Students learn basic layout and rough
framing, and how to use and maintain trade tools. They also learn
to understand and follow plans, specifications, and building codes.
With experience and further training, a student may find a job
as a building contractor, building inspector, construction equipment
salesperson or a teacher.
