The Conservation program
emphasizes the skills and knowledge needed for outdoor conservation
activities. Most classes are held on the 96-acre laboratory and
in an outdoor classroom.

Those
who complete this course may find work as a woods worker, tree
worker, groundskeeper, nursery worker, park maintenance worker,
fish hatchery worker, survey crew member, equipment operator,
campground worker, heavy equipment operator or construction worker.

With
experience and further training, a student can work as a lumber
inspector, state fish or game technician, logging contractor,
forester, civil engineer, campground operator or arborist.
